Shabbat with a BackBeat

Several times each year, the singers and musicians of Shir Rodef lead a musical Shabbat morning service that engages and energizes worshipers of all ages. A fully complete service liturgically, Shabbat with a Backbeat sets the traditional prayers to contemporary, easy to learn melodies. Those familiar with the music of Craig Taubman, Debbie Friedman, Rich Recht and Julie Silver will enjoy the folksy, comfortable feel of this prayer experience. Our own Cantor Saul adds his compositions to the mix as well. The service is held in the synagogue's social hall in the round.
