Welcome to an exciting new year of Passport to Jewish Learning. While the format of the program will essentially stay the same, we have made some exciting adjustments and added more great content. I am very much looking forward to sharing this experience with you.
This year, our program will have a “theme” that will be carried out throughout the year. During the 2017-2018 (5779) school year, students will explore the theme of MISHPACHA (FAMILY) through participation in each of the programs.
The Passport to Jewish Learning program has 4 components:
1) Shabbat Supper Club: Family Torah Learning: One Friday a month
2) Shabbat Schmooze: History and Holidays: One Saturday a month
3) Sunday Social Action Day (formerly Sunday FunDay): Doing Mitzvot: One Sunday a month
4) Ulpan/Mini Ulpan Hebrew class*: Reading/writing/prayer/vocabulary: Weekly on Wednesday afternoons.
*With a “NO Hebrew class” option for Day School Students
Learn, explore, and enjoy!
