RodefShalom 4485_205Simchat Torah ("Rejoicing with/of the Torah") is a celebration marking the conclusion of the annual cycle of public Torah readings, and the beginning of a new cycle. Simchat Torah is a component of the Biblical Jewish holiday of Shemini Atzeret ("Eighth Day of Assembly"), which follows immediately after the festival of Sukkot in the month of Tishrei. 

 

Shemini Atzeret with Yizkor Service, Monday, October 8th at 10:00 a.m. Babysitting will be available.

Simchat Torah Service & Celebration, Tuesday, October 9th from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Come join our family-friendly celebration. There will be lots of singing and dancing, aliyot for everyone, and some nosh and beverages. Everyone is welcome.
