Directions 
Shavuot is a Jewish holiday that celebrates the giving of the Torah to the Jews. The Talmud tells us that God gave the Ten Commandments to the Jews on the sixth night of the Hebrew month of Sivan. Shavuot always falls 50 days after the second night of Passover. The 49 days in between are known as the Omer.

A panel discussion featuring guest speakers from the Denver Community: State Rep. Dafna Michaelson Jenet, Rabbi Bernie Gerson, Nancy Sharp, Ean Seeb, Reverend Amanda Henderson, and Judge Alan Loeb.
INDULGE: Cheesecake Competition - 9:00 p.m.
Break out your cookbooks and bring a cheesecake and your appetite to see who wins the title of best cheesecake!
LEARN: Study session(s) - 9:30 p.m.
We will continue with four study sessions featuring: Cantor Elizabeth Sacks, Rabbi Brian Immerman, Rabbi Adam Morris, and Rabbi Evette Lutman.
SING: Kirtan with Hal Aqua - 10:30 p.m.
Hal Aqua will help us experience the revelation of Torah through spirited music and song.
Shavuot continues on Wednesday morning, May 31 at Rodef Shalom at 9:30 a.m. for services and "Blintzes & Bloody Marys"! Shavuot Day 2 Services will begin at 9:30 a.m. (Yizkor after 10:30 a.m.) on Thursday, June 1.
